50th ANNIVERSARY

26–27th April, 2025
50th Anniversary of Lincoln Baptist Church

This year Lincoln Baptist Church (LBC) reaches its 50th Birthday since the coming together of Monks Road and Mint Street Baptist Churches. We really want to celebrate all that the Lord has done at LBC over those years.

If you attend, or have attended LBC in the past, we’d like to extend a warm invitation to you, your family and friends to come along and help us make this celebration even more special.

Main Celebration: 10.30am, Sunday, 27th April

Our main celebration will be a service of thanksgiving and we are so pleased that Rev. Jim Murdoch, a previous pastor at LBC, will be joining our current pastor Rev. Daniel Pollin to lead this service.
Do join us from 10.00am for refreshments and fellowship.
You are also warmly invited to stay for a buffet lunch after the service, but we’d be grateful if you could let us know so that we have an idea of catering numbers.

Family Fun Day at LBC: 123.00pm, Saturday, 26th April

Regardless of whether you can attend on Sunday 27th or not, you are also warmly invited to come along to this event ‒ BBQ, bouncy castle, music and other activities..

A History of Lincoln Baptist Church

You may already be aware, that after many months of research, a book entitled A History of Lincoln Baptist Church: incorporating Mint Street Baptist Church and Monks Road Baptist Church (1767–2025) has just been published, and will be launched as part of the Anniversary celebrations. It costs £5, and if you are currently attending LBC and plan to be at any of the Anniversary events, the book can be pre-ordered using the Pre-Order Form.

The book will also be available to purchase during the weekend; alternatively, after the Anniversary the book will be available to order via the website.
